Since Before the K. Spoetzl Brewery was founded in 1909, folks in and around Shiner, Texas were distilling their own spirits. Our Brewers have embraced the town’s heritage and are practicing the distillation of craft spirits in Shiner once again.

Our craft corn whiskey consists of a four-grain mash bill, boasting intriguing aromatic notes of both sweet grains and spice with a full-bodied, long and smooth spicy-sweet finish.

Distilled over 20 times in both pot and column stills in small batches over 36 hours, our meticulously crafted vodka delivers a lightly sweet and welcoming aroma with a smooth, easy finish.

Slowly distilled in small batches of less than 6 barrels each with Texas botanicals and ingredients, our gin captures the character of Texas’s native landscape with a rich, nutty texture and a pleasant, aromatic finish.

Bottles of Shiner Craft Spirits are available for purchase in the distillery and tap room. Due to TABC regulations, all customers of legal age are allowed to purchase 4 bottles of spirit per month. Customers must create a K. Spoetzl Distillery profile for record of legal purchase. Customers are prohibited from consuming K. Spoetzl Distillery purchased spirits on site. Texas State Law prohibits bottle sales on Sundays.
